Never too early for college football

Showing that it is really never is too early to start thinking about the college football season, Paul Myerberg began his countdown from No. 120 to No. 1 in The Quad blog for The New York Times with Western Kentucky on Monday. Unfortunately, the Hilltoppers - in their first full season in the Football Bowl Subdivision - will start at the bottom of the heap. No harm, "Big Red," you will no doubt get some love for just being a fine, furry, friend.




Mr. Pryor springs forward


Andy Staples of SI.com says Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor spent the spring concentrating on becoming a passer and a leader. The sophomore drew raves from a spring-game record crowd of 95,722.
